Abstract:
A cutting insert based on the present disclosure is provided with a first member and a second member joined to the first member. The second member includes: an upper surface having a first edge, a second edge, and a corner located between the first edge and the second edge; and a side surface adjacent to the upper surface. The upper surface includes: a protruding first convex portion which is located to correspond to the corner; and a protruding second convex portion which extends from the first convex portion and is located to correspond to the first edge. Further, the second convex portion includes a first end portion, and a second end portion located closer to the corner than the first end portion. Further, in a top view, a first length from the first end portion to the first edge is less than a second length from the second end portion to the first edge.
