Abstract:
A cutting insert according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a first surface having a first corner, a first edge, and a second edge; a second surface; a third surface; and a land surface that is inclined relative to the first surface and the third surface. The land surface has a first land surface connected to the first corner. A first angle of inclination of a portion in the first land surface that is connected to the center of the first corner is greater than a second angle of inclination of a portion in the first land surface that is connected to a first-edge-side end part of the first corner, where a virtual plane orthogonal to a center line joining the center of the first surface and the center of the second surface is used as a reference plane.
