Abstract:
A cutting insert according to one aspect is provided with a first surface, a second surface, a first side surface, a second side surface, a first cutting blade, and a second cutting blade. The first side surface has a first inclined surface positioned along the first cutting blade, a second inclined surface positioned along the first inclined surface, a third inclined surface positioned along the second cutting blade, a fourth inclined surface positioned along the third inclined surface, and a planar surface positioned along the second inclined surface and the fourth inclined surface. A second inclination angle of the second inclined surface is less than a first inclination angle of the first inclined surface, and a fourth inclination angle of the fourth inclined surface is greater than a third inclination angle of the third inclined surface.
