Abstract:
A cutting insert according to an embodiment of the present invention has a first surface, a second surface, and a side surface. The first surface has a polygonal shape and has a first corner, a second corner, a third corner, a first side, and a second side. The first side is located between the first corner and the second corner. The second side is located between the first corner and the third corner. The side surface has a first side surface and a second side surface. At least part of the first side surface is located between the first side and the second surface. At least part of the second side surface is located between the second side and the second surface. In a front view of the first surface, the first side surface is located outside the first side. The first side surface has a first region which becomes closer to the second side surface as the first region extends toward the second surface.
