Abstract:
A cutting machine includes a pedestal (1) and a saw mechanism (3) pivotably engaged with the pedestal (1). Wherein the saw mechanism (3) includes a motor positioned above the pedestal (1), a saw blade (31) rotatably driven by the motor and a fixed protecting cover (34) which covers at least a portion of the saw blade (31). A first supporting area (12) and a second supporting area (43,43a,43b) are engaged with the pedestal (1) such that it is possible to realize a 90 degree vertical cutting and a left-and-right oblique cutting due to the fact that the workpiece could be located at the first supporting area (12) or the second supporting area (43,43a,43b) without changing or adjusting any structure. Accordingly, the whole structure of the cutting machine is greatly simplified, the product cost is reduced and the operation is easy and convenient.
