Abstract:
Provided is a cutting machine configured so that tooth jumping is suppressed and rotation can be stably transmitted. A transmission mechanism (60) has: a third pulley (605) having radially protruding teeth (605C); a fourth pulley (607) having radially protruding teeth (607C); and an endless second belt (608) mounted between the third pulley (605) and the fourth pulley (607) and having teeth engaging with the teeth (605C) and the teeth (607C). The transmission mechanism (60) is configured so that the engagement between the teeth and an engagement section enables the rotational force of a rotating shaft to be transmitted to an output shaft. A housing (60A) has a wall located radially outside the third pulley (605) and the fourth pulley (607). In the radial direction of the third pulley (605) and the fourth pulley (607), the distance between the inner surface of the wall and each of the addendum circles of the teeth (605) and the teeth (607C) is smaller than the width of the path of the second belt (608) during the drive thereof.
