Abstract:
The invention relates to a cutting plate comprising at least one cutting insert introduced into a recess in the base body of the cutting plate, said insert consisting of polycrystalline diamond (PKD) or cubic boron nitride (CBN). The inventive cutting plate is characterised in that the recess (29) is created in the base body by means of a non-chip-removing method.
