Abstract:
A cutting and positioning-type optical fibre welding device comprises a body carrier (1) and a slide block assembly (2), a Z-axis feed-in assembly (3), a hammer assembly (5), a press hammer assembly (4) and an optical fibre positioning assembly which are arranged on the body carrier (1). The optical fibre positioning assembly is composed of optical fibre positioning bases, an optical fibre press clamp which is hinge-connected to the optical fibre positioning bases, two rubber pads which are arranged between the optical fibre positioning bases, and two rubber pads which are arranged on the hammer assembly and mate with the rubber pads between the optical fibre positioning bases for use. The optical fibre positioning bases comprise a left optical fibre positioning base (6) and a right optical fibre positioning base (7) on both of which a V-shaped channel is arranged. Optical fibres to be welded are placed in the V-shaped channels and on the rubber pads, and the optical fibre sections which are placed on the rubber pads are fixed by the two upper and lower sets of rubber pads. The welding device has no need to be equipped with a cutting knife additionally, thereby simplifying the welding structure, reducing the volume, reducing the operating procedure, reducing the costs, and increasing the reliability.
