Abstract:
The disclosed cutting simulation device is provided with: a tomogram information acquisition unit (6); a memory (9) connected to the tomogram information acquisition unit (6); a volume rendering computation unit (13) connected to the memory (9); a display (2) that displays the computation results of the volume rendering computation unit (13); and an input unit (4) that instructs the cutting of a displayed object displayed on the display (2). The volume rendering computation unit (13) samples voxel information in a direction normal to the line of sight from at least the voxel information stored in the memory (9), and by means of a depth detection unit (15), measures the ray casting scanning distance of each and every point determined during the movement of a cutting instruction point.
