EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a hair cutting instrument indicated as a whole with the reference number 1. The cutting tool l is a tool for hairdressers, barbers or staff responsible for hairdressing and/or treating customers' hair, for example of a hairdressing or beauty salon.

The cutting tool 1 comprises a handle component 2, having a substantially elongated shape extending (at least for most of it) along a longitudinal axis of the cutting tool 1.

By longitudinal axis or direction we mean that axis or direction which passes through a greater dimension of the body in question.

Transversal direction means a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the body in question.

The cutting tool 1 has a first plane of longitudinal symmetry or frontal plane F which substantially cuts the cutting tool 1 into two symmetrical halves and which extends longitudinally from side to side of the tool itself.

The cutting tool 1 can also have a second plane of longitudinal symmetry or sagittal plane S which substantially cuts the cutting tool 1 into two symmetrical halves and which extends longitudinally from the front to the back of the tool itself.

The handle component 2 has a substantially stem and/or cylindrical or truncated cone or truncated pyramid and/or circular or square or hexagonal or octagonal section, etc. and/or in any case an ergonomic section.

The handle component 2 comprises a first end 3, or proximal end, and a second end 4, or distal end.

In at least one version of the invention, at least one of the first ends 3 and second ends 4 is rounded.

The handle component 2 also comprises a handle element 7, positioned close to the first end 3 of the handle component 2.

As can be seen in the exemplary detail of figure 7, the handle element 7 has a substantially tubular shape with an internal and/or external section corresponding to the section of the handle component 2, in the area where the handle element 7 will have to be positioned in use.

For example, as visible in Figure 6, the handle component 2 has a recessed seat 7a, near its first end 3, suitable for housing the handle element 7. The recessed seat 7a has a substantially annular shape. In detail, the depth of the recessed seat 7a substantially corresponds to the thickness of the handle element 7, so that the latter, when housed in the seat 7a, is flush with or protrudes with respect to the handle component 2 (or its wall external).

The geometric conformation of the external section of the handle element 7 may or may not correspond to the geometric conformation of its internal section, since - while the latter is suitable for coupling with the handle component 2 and therefore substantially must have a section corresponding to that of the latter and/or of the seat 7a - the external section is able to be gripped by the user. Therefore, the handle element 7 comprises an external wall able to be gripped by the user and able to make the grip of the cutting tool 1 itself safer and/or more comfortable.

For example, the outer wall of the handle element 7 can be knurled or rough and/or comprise a pattern or workmanship which enhances its grip and/or ergonomics.

In the version in which the handle component 2 is tapered towards its second end 4, the shape of the handle element could also have a width or a diameter that decreases towards the second end 4 of the cutting tool 1 and/or of the handle component 2.

The cutting tool 1 also comprises a head component 15, located at the first end 3 of the handle component 2.

The head component 15 comprises a blade element 5. The blade element 5 is a rotating element about its center and/or about an axis of rotation R.

The blade element 5 can be part of a series of at least two blade elements 5 having different dimensions and/or characteristics.

Similarly, the head component 15, equipped with a blade element 5, can form part of a series of at least two head components 15, having different dimensions and/or characteristics or respectively having a blade element 5 of dimensions and/or different characteristics.

Alternatively, several blade elements 5 and/or several head components 15 can be provided, each of the same dimensions, but provided in a number of at least two, to be able to be replaced or to be replaced, in case of damage and/or wear.

The axis of rotation R is perpendicular to the sagittal plane S of the cutting tool 1 and/or to its longitudinal axis. Therefore, the blade element 5 lies on a plane parallel to the frontal plane F.

The rotation of the blade element 5 therefore occurs parallel to the frontal plane F of the cutting tool 1.

The head component 15 and/or the blade element 5 is constrained, possibly in a removable manner, at the first proximal end 3 of the handle component 2.

The blade element 5 substantially has a circular shape having a surface area much greater than its thickness.

Therefore, the blade element 5 comprises two circular surfaces 5a, 5b, opposite each other, and a sharp outer peripheral edge 5c, since it is capable of cutting the hair of the person on whom the cutting tool 1 is applied or used. The outer peripheral edge 5c is the outer peripheral edge in common with the two circular surfaces 5 a, 5b.

The blade element 5 also comprises a central hole 5d, around which it can rotate.

The central hole 5d acts as a rotation fulcrum of the blade element 5.

The axis of rotation R of the blade element 5 therefore passes through the central hole 5d. The first end 3 of the handle component 2 has a longitudinal seat 8 for at least partial housing of the head component 15 and/or the blade element 5.

The longitudinal seat 8 passes from side to side of the handle component 2, as well as being open at its apical region and in an apical region of the first end 3. Therefore, the longitudinal seat 8 determines an opening 8a having a perimeter substantially in the shape of an inverted U at the outer wall of the handle component 2 in the region of its first end 3.

The longitudinal seat 8 lies substantially on a plane substantially parallel or coincident with the first plane of longitudinal symmetry or sagittal plane S of the cutting tool 1.

In particular, the opening 8a comprises a first lateral section, for example on the left, a second lateral section, for example on the right, and a central connection section, possibly curved, placed in an apical position with respect to the first end 3.

The longitudinal seat 8 determines the formation of two portions 3 a, 3b of the first end 3 which rise outwards in the same longitudinal direction as the handle component 2.

The two portions 3a and 3b are able in use to support the head component 15 and/or the blade element 5 and to allow their rotation. The first portion 3a and the second portion 3b can be the same and specular or different, depending on whether the longitudinal seat 8 "cuts" the first end 3 in half or not.

The first portion 3a and the second portion 3b are substantially plate-shaped and/or are parallel to each other, separated by a space determined by the longitudinal seat 8.

In at least one version, portions 3a and 3b are also parallel to the sagittal plane S. Consequently, the first end 3 is substantially U-shaped considering its longitudinal section orthogonal to the extension of the circular surfaces 5a, 5b of the blade element 5 and/or considering its longitudinal section from side to side of the cutting tool 1 and/or considering its section parallel or coinciding with the frontal plane F of the cutting tool 1. The head component 15 can also comprise a pair of support elements 9 for the blade element 5, for example a first support element 9a and a second support element 9b opposite and constrainable to each other.

The support elements 9 are substantially semicircle and/or half-shell shaped and/or have a substantially circular shape but with an overall diameter, in at least a portion thereof, smaller than that of the blade element 5.

As can be seen, for example, in figures 1 A to 4B, the support elements 9, which can be specular to each other, determine n their inside and/or between them a housing seat 93 for the element a blade 5.

In this way, the blade element 5 is able to be housed in the seat 93 created by the two support elements 9 and to rotate inside it.

Each support element 9, as mentioned, comprises at least a first semicircle-shaped area 91, having a radius substantially equal to or slightly greater than the radius of the blade element 5.

Furthermore, each support element 9 can comprise a second area 92, adjacent to the first area 91 and placed in use above (in the longitudinal direction) the same. The second area 92 has a circular sector shape or in any case a curved shape equipped with a second convex external profile opposite a first concave external profile of the first area 91. The second area 92 has a height lower than the radius of the blade element 5.

The first support element 9a also has an outer peripheral wall 94 which extends substantially perpendicular to the first area 91 and which is able to come into use in contact and constraint with an outer peripheral wall 94 of the second support element 9b. The outer peripheral wall 94 has a curved shape substantially corresponding to the first concave outer profile of the first area 91.

The (optional) presence of the second area 92 guarantees a better holding safety of the blade element 5 inside the seat 93, since the opening which is subtended to the seat 93, precisely determined by the two support elements 9, and in particular from the second area 92, can have a dimension smaller than the diameter of the blade element 5.

The blade element 5 is capable of protruding and/or coming out from the seat 93 or in any case from the support elements 9 so as to be held in position by them but at the same time be free to rotate and perform its cutting action.

The support elements 9 also comprise at least one pin or tang element 9c capable of rotatingly constraining the blade element 5.

The pin or tang element 9c departs from the inner in use wall of at least one support element 9, respectively towards the other between the first and second support elements 9a, 9b.

In at least one version of the invention, there are two pin or tang elements 9c, they depart internally from the first and second support element 9a, 9b and come into contact, for example constrained, for example by interlocking or snapping or bayonet with each other so as to create a rotation pin for the blade element 5.

The at least one pin or tang element 9c is placed at the central hole 5d of the blade element 5.

Therefore, overall, the pin or tang elements 9c can have a length dimension substantially corresponding to or slightly greater than the thickness of the blade element 5, at least at its central hole 5 d.

The at least one pin or tang element 9c is able to be housed in use inside the central hole 5d.

In an alternative version, it is possible that there is only one pin element in a first or second support element 9a, 9b which engages in a suitable housing space in the other support element 9b, 9a.

In one version of the invention, the at least one pin or tang element 9c can be removably released from the other element or appropriate space. In this way, the support elements 9a, 9b can at least partially be moved away from each other.

In an alternative embodiment, the at least one pin or tang element 9c is welded or fixed with the other element or space provided. In this way, the support elements 9a, 9b (and the blade element 5 placed inside them) form a single body.

Knurlings may be present inside the support elements 9, for example suitable for facilitating the extraction of the blade element 5, when necessary.

In at least one version of the invention, at least one of the support elements 9 can also comprise at least one pad 9d.

The at least one pad 9d is shaped like a small protrusion which extends from the inner wall of at least one support element 9 towards the blade element 5. In this way, the at least one pad 9d is able to allow rotation of the blade element 5 but also to guide its motion and/or to keep the blade in position and/or to guarantee its rotation always on the same plane, without play movements, above all considering that - as will be better described hereinafter - for operation, the cutting tool 1 is pressed against a user's hair or locks of hair.

In a preferred version, there are at least two pads 9d or pairs of pads 9d, each placed in an opposite way on the inner wall of the first and second support element 9a, 9b.

At least one support element 9 or both 9a, 9b can also comprise a hooking coupling 9e. The hooking coupling 9e can be shaped as a protrusion suitable for hooking, snapping, interlocking, bayonet-like or in any case in a suitable way, for example reversible and/or removable, in or with a respective coupling seat 3c of the handle component 2.

In detail, the coupling seat 3c is placed at the first end 3 of the handle component 2, inside the longitudinal seat 8 and/or at an internal base of the longitudinal seat 8.

The coupling seat 3c has a shape that is complementary and corresponding to that of the hooking coupling 9e.

The cutting tool 1 can also comprise a protective component 6 suitable for covering and/or protecting the blade element 5. The protective component 6 can act as a blade protector for the blade element 5.

In the version illustrated in the enclosed figures 1A to 4B, the protective component 6 rotates around the same axis of rotation as the blade component 5, for example inside the longitudinal seat 8 of the handle component 2 and/or inside of the seat 93 of the head component 15.

The protective component 6 is provided with a hole 6a, corresponding to the central hole 5d of the blade element 5 and capable of being engaged, like the central hole 5d, by the at least one pin or tang element 9c.

The protective component 6 is preferably shaped like a circular sector having a radius substantially corresponding to or slightly greater than the radius of the blade element 5, so as to be able to slide and/or rotate around the blade element 5 itself.

According to one version of the invention, the protective component 6 has a circular sector and/or substantially triangular shape and/or has two substantially straight sides joined by a curved connection side. The substantially straight sides substantially correspond to two radii of the protective component 6 and/or of the blade element 5 and subtend between them an acute angle, a right angle or an obtuse angle, also depending on the entity or width of the first and/or of the second area 91, 92 of the support element 9. In one version of the invention, the protective component 6 encloses within it a cavity substantially suitable for housing at least part of the blade element 5 and therefore having a thickness substantially corresponding to or slightly greater than that of the blade element itself.

The protective component 6 therefore covers and/or protects at least the exposed portion (with respect to the support elements 9) of the blade element 5.

The protective component 6, together with the at least one support element 9, constitutes a sort of casing for the blade element 5, having a shape substantially corresponding to and slightly greater than the blade element 5. Furthermore, the cavity subtended by the protective component 6 (when the latter covers the blade element 5) and the seat 93 determined by at least one support element 9 have a shape suitable for housing the entire blade element 5.

In terms of thickness, the seat 93 has a thickness capable of also receiving the protective component 6 inside it, when present according to this version of the invention.

The head component 15 can have, in at least one version of the invention, stop means for stopping the rotation of the protective component 6, when passing from a closed or rest operating configuration (for example visible in figure 4A), according to which the blade element 5 is not exposed or in any case is covered by the protective component 6, to an open or working operating configuration (for example illustrated in figure 4B), in which the blade element 5 is exposed and in able to perform its cutting function.

The passage between these two configurations takes place by rotating the protective component 6 so that it covers the blade element 5 (and therefore in fact completes together with the first area 91 and the second area 92 of the support elements 9 a sort of envelope capable of substantially completely surrounding the blade element 5) and gradually uncovers it, by itself entering by rotation inside the seat 93 formed by the support elements 9.

When the protective component 6 has completely rotated, as can be seen in figure 4B, a gripping portion 6b remains exposed outside the seat 93 which can be gripped to return the protective component 6 to its closed operating configuration.

In the version in which at least one pad 9d is present, this at least one pad also acts as a stop means for the rotation of the protective component 6.

The latter, in fact, comprises at least one or preferably a pair of slits 6c, having a curved or circular and/or concentric course with respect to the blade element 5, and/or with respect to the axis of rotation of the blade element 5 itself.

This at least one slit 6c has an open end at a substantially straight side of the protective component 6 itself and a further closed end, at the body of the protective component 6.

The distance from the axis of rotation of the blade element 5 (which corresponds to the axis of rotation of the protective component 6 and/or which passes at the at least one pin or tang element 9c) of the at least one pad 9d corresponds to the distance between this axis of rotation and the at least one slot 6c.

When the pads 9d are placed at different distances from the axis of rotation, the slots 6c are also placed at the protective component 6 at the same distances.

The closed end of at least one slot 6c acts as a stop means for the rotation of the protective component 6. When two slots are present, a closed end acts as a stop means for the opening rotation of the protective component 6 while the other closed end acts as a stop means for the closing rotation of the protective component 6.

Also the gripping portion 6b, in addition to or as an alternative to the at least one closed end, can act as a stop means, for example in opening and/or closing, of the protective component 6 itself.

As can be seen, for example, in figures 5 A to 8, in a second version of the invention, the cutting tool 1 can comprise, instead of a protective component 6, a further version of protective component 60 that can be worn and/or inserted on the blade element 5 and at least partially on the support elements 9.

The protective component 60 has a semicircle or C-shaped conformation (considering its section along a plane parallel to the frontal plane of the cutting tool 1).

The protective component 60 acts as a "cap" for the head component 15 and/or for the blade element 5.

In particular, the protective component 60 defines a seat 60a for housing the blade element 5 and possibly the support elements 9.

The seat 60a substantially corresponds, negatively, to the shape of at least part of the blade element 5 and/or of the support elements 9.

The protective component 60 can also comprise a grip portion 60b, optionally configured as a wall or portion extending at least slightly in recess or outwards with respect to the seat 60a, so as to facilitate the grip by the user and to be able to couple or release and/or constrain or release the protective component 60 from the head component 15.

The protective component 60 is not rotating but can be inserted so as to be able to fit (and therefore cover) the head component 15 and/or at least the portion of the blade element 5 which is exposed with respect to the support elements 9 or it can be released or removed (and therefore expose) the head component 15 and/or at least the portion of the blade element 5 which is exposed with respect to the support elements 9.

The support elements 9, in an alternative version of the invention, can comprise, instead of the first and second support elements 9a, 9b, a first and a second support element 90a and 90b configured as illustrated in the detail figures from 9A at 10F.

The first and second support elements 90a, 90b are shaped substantially like the first and second support elements 9a, 9b but have some differences identified below. In particular, at least one of the first and second support elements 90a, 90b comprises, at one of its outer walls, a longitudinal coupling element 95.

The longitudinal coupling element 95 has a substantially semicircle or polygonal crosssection and is suitable for being housed (and possibly constrained) to the longitudinal seat 8 which in this version has a substantially circular or polygonal cross-section.

In at least one version of the invention, the longitudinal coupling element 95 is placed or protrudes externally at the external face of at least one of the first and second support elements 90a, 90b.

The longitudinal coupling element 95 terminates with or comprises, at one of its internal ends in use (with respect to the handle component 2), the hooking coupling 9e.

The first and second support element 9a, 9b, 90a, 90b can be connected to each other by snapping or interlocking or possibly by thermoforming their parts.

As can be seen from figures 9 A and 10 A, it can be seen that the section of the first and second support elements 90a and 90b, in particular the outer peripheral wall 94 of both, is slightly different from each other.

The first and second support element 90a, 90b, in fact, can be constrained to each other by interlocking and therefore the shape of the outer peripheral wall 94 of one and the other is shaped in a complementary way precisely to determine this interlocking.

The first and second support element 90a, 90b can furthermore comprise one or more ribs 90d, for example having a semi-circular and/or curved configuration, able to stiffen the structure and/or to facilitate and/or guide the rotation of the element to blade 5.

In particular, the at least one rib 90d can be concentric with the blade element 5 and keep its axis of rotation constant, so as to help its easy of movement and to guide its rotation. The at least one rib 90d can be considered analogous, at least in certain respects, to the at least one pad 9d described above.

Closure means 96 may also be present, shaped for example in the shape of a hemisphere or a quarter of a sphere or a truncated cone or pyramid, placed in an apical position of the longitudinal coupling element 95, with the purpose of closing the longitudinal seat 8 and preventing that hair or other particles can get inside it.

In at least one version of the invention, the head component 15 is welded, or heat-sealed, to the blade element 5. More specifically, the first and second support elements 90a, 90b are welded together (or heat-sealed), for example at the pin or tang element 9c, so as to determine inside them the seat 93 for the rotating housing of the blade element 5. In this way, the blade element 5 is stably constrained to the inside of the head component 15. In this case, the blade element 5 is not removable from the head component 15 but the latter is removable from the handle component 2.

In an alternative version, for example illustrated in figures 18A to 20B, the head component 15 can be at least partially opened, i.e. the first and second support element 90a, 90b are connected to each other in a removable manner. In this way, the first and second support elements 90a, 90b can at least partially be moved away from each other.

In detail, they can comprise a hooking coupling 90e which allows for example the at least partial opening or moving away of the first support element 90a with respect to the second support element 90b.

According to one aspect of the present version, the hooking coupling 90e is also able to hold the first support element 90a and the second support element 90b together in their lower part or first region 91. This means that the hooking coupling 90e is oriented towards the handle component 2.

According to one embodiment, the hooking coupling 90e is composed of a hook means 90el, placed in one of the first and second support elements 90a, 90b and of a pin means 90e2, placed in the other of the first and second element support 90a, 90b.

In particular, the hook means 90el is suitable for hooking to the pin means 90e2 and for rotating about the same.

The hook means 90el is for example in the shape of a grapple or hook, with dimensions suitable for rotating, possibly removable, coupling with the pin means 90e2.

Naturally, analogous means can be provided, such as for example rotary coupling means, ball means, hinges of various kinds, etc.

In this way, the opening of the head component 15 is determined with at least partial or at least top separation of the first and second support elements 90a, 90b. Similarly, the reverse rotation of the hook means 90el on the pin means 90e2 also determines the closure of the two elements, with restoration of the seat 93. The opening allowed by the hooking coupling 90e reaches up to about 120°.

In this way, if necessary, it is possible to open the head component 15 and extract the blade element 5 for its replacement or cleaning.

This variant has been specifically developed to be able to inspect the blade element 5 and possibly clean it to prolong the life of the cutting edge, guarantee more precise cuts over time and have greater cleanliness of the entire cutting tool 1 or at least of its head component 15.

At a general level, the first and second support element 90a, 90b can be considered respectively a male element and a female element or a male shell and a female shell, capable of being constrained together to house the blade element 5.

Furthermore, at least one or each of the first and second support elements 90a, 90b comprises at least one depression portion 97, optionally in a lateral position, to facilitate the opening of the head component 15. The depression portion 97 can be shaped so suitable for allowing a finger or a nail of a user to position itself at it and facilitate the release and/or rotation of the first and second support elements 90a, 90b so as to determine the opening of the component a head 15.

As can be seen for example from figures 11 A-l 1C, the portion of the handle component 2 at the second distal end 4 can act as and/or comprise a counterweight for the cutting tool 1.

The head component 15 and/or the blade element 5 can be, as mentioned, removable.

The cutting tool 1 and/or the handle component 2 can be equipped with a damping system for pressure calibration on the blade element 5.

As regards the materials with which the cutting tool 1 is made, the following examples are given: protective component 6, 60: resistant plastic and/or polymeric material, such as for example polystyrene (PS) or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), optionally transparent, handle element 7: thermoplastic material or TPE, for example resistant to detergents, if desired in a soft and comfortable material for the grip by the user, handle component 2: rigid polymer material, blade element 5: metallic material, it can have an external peripheral edge 5c with a continuous or toothed edge. The teeth can have various shapes and sizes, support element 9: made of polymeric or plastic material, for example polyamide or PA6, possibly reinforced with glass fibers.

In terms of dimensions, according to an example of the present invention, the cutting tool 1 comprises an overall length of approximately (or at least) 16 cm, and/or the blade element 5 has a diameter of approximately 3 cm.

The largest width of an example of support element 9 measures 3.2 cm while its thickness can be 5.7 mm or 7 mm or between these values. The protective component 6, 60 may be about 8, 8.2-8.4 mm thick.

At the first end 3, the handle component 2 can have a width or diameter of approximately 1.6 cm.

In particular, the handle component 2 can have a diameter or width equal to approximately 1.65 cm at one end of the recessed seat 7a facing the first end 3 and a diameter or width equal to 1.53 cm at of another end of the recessed seat 7a, facing the second end 4.

The handle component can have a width or diameter at the second end equal to 9-10 mm and a width or diameter, at a central region of the recessed seat 7a, equal to 12.5 mm.

The distance between first end 3 and second end 4 can measure 15.3-15.4b cm.

The handle element 7 can comprise a thickness of about 1-2 mm and have a lateral inclination of about 3°, equal to the inclination of the external wall of the handle component 2, which is tapered towards its second end 4 of about 3°.

The internal edges of the handle element 7 can be rounded to facilitate fit of the same along the handle component and/or recessed seat 7a.

The external or visible surfaces of the cutting tool 1 can have a glossy or matt surface finish, for example a satin finish, for example a fine satin finish.

The protective component 60 can have an overall height of about 2.3-2.4 cm and a width of about 3.5-3.6 cm. When this component has a C shape, its central opening can have a height of about 1.4 cm.

As regards the first support element 9a, 90a, it has an external peripheral wall 94 which protrudes approximately 1.3 mm from the internal wall of the element itself. The diameter of the first zone 91 can be about 3.3-3.5 cm.

The closure means 96 can protrude from the outer wall of the support element 9 by approximately 2.4 mm.

The second support element 9b, 90b can comprise a thickness of about 2.7 mm.

The height of the support element 9 (including the hooking coupling 9e) can amount to 3.25 cm.

The height of the recessed seat 7a can be about 2.3-2.4 cm; the thickness of the first and/or second portion 3a, 3b can measure about 5 mm.

The distance between the first and second portions 3a, 3b (and therefore the thickness of the longitudinal seat 8) can be about 7 mm; the distance between the upper end of the recessed seat 7a and the first end 3 of the handle component can measure 2.8 cm.

Different sizes can of course be included.

The present invention also comprises a support base 100 (for example illustrated in figures 13, 14A and 14B). The support base 100 can be shaped like a tablet and/or have two main surfaces 101a, 101b, opposite each other, spaced apart by a thickness having dimensions much smaller than the dimensions of the main surfaces.

Each main surface can have a configuration for example of a rectangle, a square, an oval, a polygonal, an elongated one, with rounded edges, etc.

At least one of the main surfaces 101a, 101b is a cutting surface or area, adapted to be used in combination with the tool 1 of the present invention. In particular, by cutting surface we mean a surface capable of withstanding the sliding of the blade element 5 and therefore the pressure and/or incision exerted on the lock by the user through the cutting tool 1, without losing its functionality (unless after prolonged use).

At at least two sides of the main surfaces 101a, 101b there may be graduated scales or rulers, for example in the form of a ruler, for example graduated in centimetres. These two sides can be, for example, two contiguous or opposite sides, for example two sides that are long or larger than the support base 100.

At a further side of the support base 100, for example at a side without graduated scales or rulers, for example a short or smaller side, there may be a support portion 103. The support portion 103 can have at least one recess 104 or two recesses 104, for example placed one on the opposite side of the other, near a short side of the support base 100 and/or the support portion 103. This at least one recess 104 is for example placed at a distance from the end of at least one long side of the support base 100.

The support base 100 can also comprise at least one hole 102 for the passage of a lace or ribbon 106. This lace or ribbon 106 can have an elongated and/or tubular shape, in a natural or synthetic or plastic material.

The lace or ribbon 106 can be inserted and/or knotted inside at least one hole 102, so as to assume a circular or ring shape, together with the support portion 103. In this way, it is possible to insert or pass the string or ribbon 106 around the neck of the user, who can wear the support base 100 tied around his neck.

When not in use, the lace or ribbon 106 can be wrapped around the support base 100 and/or at least one recess 104, so as not to be bulky.

The lace or ribbon 106 therefore has the function of supporting and/or holding the support base 100 in use.

The length of the lace or tape 106 is selectable by the user or in any case adjustable.

The present invention therefore relates to a kit comprising at least one cutting tool 1 and at least one support base 100. Specifically, the kit could comprise (at least) a handle component 2 and at least two different blade elements 5 and/or at least two different head components 15, which can be removably coupled to the handle component 2.

The support base 100 is made of a rigid material, for example a plastic and/or polymeric material, for example transparent, capable of supporting the pressure applied by the user through the blade element 5 and also capable of substantially resisting cutting determined by the blade element 5.

Specifically, on the support base 100 in use, the hair or at least a lock of hair is laid out: the blade element 5 of the cutting tool 1 will be slid along it. The user, by applying a given pressure determined by the size of the lock of hair, will make the blade element 5 slide and rotate on the lock itself, determining a cut of the hair of the desired size and shape.

In a further version of the invention, at least one main surface 101a, 101b is at least partially covered - for example at the cutting surface or area - by a layer of soft material (or in any case softer than the material which forms the support base 100) or mat, on which the blade element 5 slides by rotating during the step of cutting the lock of hair. This layer of soft material or mat is replaceable when it becomes engraved or damaged or worn from use.

The layer of soft material or mat has a shape substantially corresponding to that of the main surface 101a, 101b of the support base 100.

From an aesthetic point of view, this cutting system makes it possible to obtain results that cannot be achieved by tools currently in use such as scissors, clippers, razors, etc.

The present invention, with respect to the known tools used for cutting hair, therefore provides for the use of a cutting tool 1 which can be held like a pen, to which the blade element 5 is applied.

As mentioned, the user "wears" the support base 100 through the lace or ribbon 106. She/he grips the cutting tool 1, removes or rotates the protective component 6, 60 and frees or exposes at least part of the element to blade 5.

The at least one lock of hair of a customer is placed on the support base 100 and by exploiting the rotation of the blade element 5, the cutting tool 1 is made to slide on the support base 100 by the operator or user, which simultaneously applies a given pressure to the blade element 5 itself. The hair or lock of hair is then cut.

The blade element 5 during the cut is for example held substantially perpendicular to the support base 100 and/or to its main surfaces 101a, 101b. The pressure varies according to the result to be obtained. The blade element 5 is then made to slide and/or rotate over the lock to be cut which rests on the support base 100 and, on the basis of the movement that is performed, a different cutting result will be obtained.

The fact of being able to hang the support base 100 around the neck allows to have a stable grip and/or support and at the same time have the hands free to carry out the cut and/or other treatments on the desired lock, such as for example the colour.

In fact, after having made the cut, it is possible to immediately colour dye and/or perform the treatment on the lock of hair, for example by lifting the lock just cut and placing a dye paper under it, such as foil or other material, wanting ecological, paper. You can then apply the dye and/or treatment, close the paper and wait for the dye and/or treatment to take place.

As an alternative or in addition, it will be possible to use papers made of material other than foil, for example transparent, which are resistant to cutting and therefore can be placed under the lock before making the cut with the cutting tool 1. It is therefore possible remove, for example with a brush or a hairbrush, the cut and/or excess hair and proceed immediately with the application of the dye and/or treatment.

The end of the support base 100, opposite the support portion 103, can be rested on the operator's torso or held by hand. The cut can also be performed without placing the string or ribbon 106 around the neck but simply holding the support base 100 only with the hand, this according to the convenience of the hairdresser.

Once the desired lock or locks have been cut, it is possible to replace the blade element 5 and/or the head component 15 by extracting at least one of these elements from the handle component 2. The head component 15 and/or the blade element 5 can be disposed of as waste, when no longer usable, and keep the handle component 2, which can be equipped with new blade elements 5 and/or with new head components 15.

According to one version of the invention, the head component 15 and/or the blade element 5 are inserted by pressure into the handle component 2, for example by engaging by pressure (and when needed by releasing by traction) the hooking coupling 9e and coupling seat 3c, for example until you hear a click.

Otherwise, these two components can be constrained by screwing through the presence of suitable screw, snap, interlocking, bayonet coupling, etc. means.

The kit according to the present invention can also comprise a rest and/or sanitation station 200 for the cutting tool 1 and/or for the support base 100.

The station 200 comprises a support structure in which at least one cutting tool 1 is inserted (for example on the side of the head component 15 and/or of the blade element 5 and/or of the handle component 2) and at least one base of support 100, when not in use.

The station 200 has for example a box-shaped configuration, for example a geometric solid, and has at least a first housing 201 for the cutting tool 1 and at least one second housing 202 for the support base 100. The first housing 201 is for example a cylindrical or truncated cone or truncated pyramid seat or having a shape corresponding, negatively, to the blade element 5 and/or to the head component 15 and/or to the handle component 2 of the instrument blade 1 while the second housing 202 can have a substantially parallelepiped shape.

The station 200 can be supplied with electric current, for example through a socket 203 for the electric power supply, for example a USB socket, for recharging by means of a suitable cable, not shown.

Station 200 can have a sanitizing and/or hygienizing function.

It can for example comprise sanitizing means 204 at least for the blade element 5, such as for example one at least one UV or UVC ray lamp or LED.

These sanitizing means 204 are placed at the first 201 and/or the second 202 housing.

The sanitizing means 204 can also have a sterilizing function.

It is then possible that there is a timer (audio and/or visual) to be able to set a duration of the sanitization time.

At least one of the following components may be present: at least one on/off button 205 for example capacitive and/or backlit, at least one charge indicator 206, for example with four steps, at least one battery 207.

In the version illustrated in figures 17A and 17B, the station 200 can also comprise at least one other housing seat 210 for housing and/or supporting and/or sanitizing other components, including those not belonging to the cutting tool 1 and/or the relevant kit. The at least one other housing seat 210 can also be provided for housing at least one spare head component 15.

Station 200 is made of chemical resistant plastic material. For example, it can, in at least one version of the present invention, have a surface treatment such as painting, cubic plating, galvanizing or other, capable for example of giving the station 200 the aforementioned resistance to chemical agents.

As can be seen from the present discussion, the cutting tool 1 and its method of use allow cutting hair in an innovative way, giving the hairdresser the possibility to create new types of cuts, shapes and geometries, even on just a few selected locks of hair, which other tools on the market today do not allow you to make. Naturally, the use of the present invention is a non-surgical use and/or an aesthetic use. On the basis of the rectilinear and/or curved and/or geometric direction of the hair incision, decided by the user, it is possible to give a particular volume and movement to the hair. This is also permitted by the fact that the cut takes place lock by lock leaning on the support base 100, therefore by isolating the specific locks of hair it is possible to give different volumes to each selected strand.

Furthermore, the cutting method can be integrated with the dye and/or treatment of the hair, which can be performed simultaneously with the cut, lock by lock, for example directly on the support base 100.

The locks can be isolated and therefore create specific geometries (and/or dyeing and/or treatment) only on some isolated locks, which usually does not happen with tools of the known type.

In this way there is the possibility of giving volume and depth to the hair locks both with the geometry of the cut but also with specific dye effects, for example by applying the dye and/or treatment only on the locks that have a specific shape, these being already divided from the others.

By selecting the lock and placing it on the support base 100 it is also possible to determine more defined cutting geometries thanks to the graduated scales or rulers placed on the side of the tablet, which form reference points - also visual as well as measuring - for cutting.

Furthermore, thanks to the cutting tool 1 it is possible to apply a type of cut requested by the customer or a predetermined or programmed cut can be applied, which is naturally faster to perform, for example chosen from a series of predetermined or programmed ones.

The predetermined or programmed cut involves dividing all the locks of hair into sections (for example, each lock is selected and stopped by a "plier"), then lock after lock we proceed with the cut and/or treatment and/or dye as previously described.

Thanks to all these aspects, it is possible to provide an initial consultation with the client, for example personalized, prior to the cut, in order to establish - on the basis of the characteristics of the face and/or the somatic features and/or hair and/or the requests and/or the customer's personality - which cut (if desired among the predetermined or programmed ones) is best suited to these characteristics and is able to make them stand out.

The invention thus conceived is susceptible to numerous modifications and variations, all included within the scope of the inventive concept.

Furthermore, the characteristics described for one embodiment of the invention may therefore be present in other embodiments, without thereby departing from the protective scope of the present invention.

Furthermore, all the details can be replaced with other technically equivalent elements. In practice, all the materials used, as well as the contingent shapes and dimensions, can be of any type according to the requirements, without thereby departing from the protective scope of the following claims.
