Abstract:
This cutting tool is provided with a holder having a threaded hole and a pocket, a cutting insert positioned in the pocket, a clamp member for fixing the cutting insert to the pocket, and a flow channel. The clamp member has a screw for screwing together with the threaded hole, and a first member engaged with the cutting insert. The flow channel has a first flow channel positioned inside the holder, and a second flow channel positioned inside the first member and connected to the first flow channel. The first member has a bottom surface, a top surface, a through-hole in which the screw is inserted, and a first protruding part protruding toward the holder from the bottom surface and engaged with the cutting insert. As viewed through the top surface, the second flow channel is separated from a line segment joining the center of the through-hole and the center of the first protruding part.
