Abstract:
A cutting tool according to an aspect is provided with: a holder which has a cylindrical shape extending from a first end toward a second end along a rotation axis, and which has a first pocket, a second pocket positioned closer to the second end than the first pocket, a first groove extending along the first pocket, and a second groove extending along the second pocket; a first insert positioned at the first pocket; and a second insert positioned at the second pocket. A first length, from the rotation axis to the first groove, in a first cross section perpendicular to the rotation axis and including the first groove is smaller than a second length, from the rotation axis to the second groove, in a second cross section including the second groove, and the opening width of the first groove in the first cross section is smaller than the opening width of the second groove in the second cross section.
