Abstract:
A cutting tool of the present disclosure is provided with a holder of a shape that extends from a first end to a second end, and a cutting insert. The cutting insert has a first surface including an edge and a first side. The holder is provided with channels including a first channel extending along a first central axis, and a second channel extending along a second central axis. If a line extending the first central axis outward is taken as a first virtual line and a line extending the second central axis outward is taken as a second virtual line, the first virtual line is inclined downward, and the second virtual line is inclined downward. If the angle of incline of the first virtual line is taken as a first angle and the angle of incline of the second virtual line is taken as a second angle, the first angle is the same as the second angle. The intersection of the first virtual line and the second virtual line is located outside of the cutting insert. The first virtual line intersects with the edge or the first side, and the second virtual line intersects with the first side further to the side of the second end than the first virtual line.
