Abstract:
A cutting tool according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with a blade edge that contains at least one of cubic boron nitride and polycrystalline diamond. The blade edge comprises a clearance, a negative land that is continuous with the clearance, and a cutting edge that is composed of the ridge line between the clearance and the negative land. At least one of the negative land and the clearance is provided with a plurality of recesses and a projection. The projection is formed of ends of recesses adjacent to each other, said ends being in contact with each other.
