Abstract:
The cutting tool according to one embodiment is provided with: an insert that has a cutting blade at at least one part of a portion thereof at which two surfaces intersect; and a holder that can rotate around a rotational axis. The holder has: a pocket that has a mounting part on which the insert is positioned and a notched part that is adjacent to the mounting part and that is positioned further forward in the direction of rotation than the mounting part; an inflow port that opens at at least one part of the holder; a first flow path that is positioned inside the holder; and an outflow port that is positioned at the pocket. The notched part has a recessed part.
