Abstract:
Provided is a cutting tool with a coolant hole, which has different cutting blades such as an outer circumferential blade and a bottom blade and in which a coolant hole having a plurality of branch holes corresponding to the different cutting blades is formed and even when one of the cutting blades is solely used, coolant is not uselessly used and supply pressure is not required more than necessary.
A coolant hole (17) is formed in a tool main body and branched into a plurality of branch holes (18a, 18b) in a blade portion (11) of the tool main body. In addition, the coolant hole (17) is equipped with a switching means (3) that makes it possible to select, among the branch holes (18a, 18b), a branch hole (18) for supplying coolant.
