Abstract:
Table-top cutting tools which support a cutting machine body so as to allow vertical tilting operations and forward and backward sliding operations relative to the table where the cutting material is placed are cumbersome to operate because a fixing screw must be rotated in order to fix the sliding position of a conventional cutting machine body. In the present invention, it is possible to fix the sliding position of the cutting machine body with an operation simpler than operation of a fixing screw. By removing or inserting a lock pin (31) provided on the side of the table (2) out of or into a lock hole (32) provided on a slider (13) on the side of the cutting machine body (10), the sliding position of the cutting machine body (10) is locked or unlocked. Since the sliding position of the cutting machine body (10) can be locked and unlocked by the simple operation of pinching and moving the lock pin (31) in the axial direction, operability is improved compared to configurations involving a conventional fixing screw.
