Abstract:
Provided is a cutting tool in which a battery can be easily handled. According to the present invention, a According to the present invention, a multi-cutter (1), which is an example of a cutting tool, is provided with: a motor; a rotating blade (26) driven by the motor; a fixed blade (28) disposed to face the rotating blade (26); a housing (2) (a left housing (40) and a right housing (42)) by which the motor is held; and a battery mounting part (8) which is formed in a rear end section of the housing (2) and to which a battery (10) for electric tools can be mounted, wherein the battery mounting part (8) has, on left and right sides thereof, guide grooves (78) which guide the battery (10), extend vertically, and are forwardly recessed.
