Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to improve the ease of use of a cutting tool for cutting elongate parts. A cover main body (3) is attached to a tool main body (7) which supports a cutting blade (6). The cutting blade (6) cuts an elongate part (9) in a plane intersecting the longitudinal direction of the elongate part (9). A box-like part (5) of the cover main body (3) has an aperture (50) in a region thereof which is on the cutting blade (6) side when the cover main body (3) is attached to the tool main body (7). The cover main body (3) has an open region (aperture (410)). When the cover main body (3) is attached to the tool main body (7), the elongate part (9) passes through the open region from outside the cover main body (3) toward the cutting blade (6).
