Abstract:
In this oscillator assembly, in the sectional shape of a first portion from the
closest node position to a leading end side and normal to a Z-axis, a first width
in a transverse direction (or an X-axis direction) is made larger than a second
width in a longitudinal direction (or a Y-axis direction), so that the rigidity
of the vibrator body in the X-axis direction can be enhanced to suppress the transverse
flexural oscillations at a stationary portion. As a result, an object can be worked
highly precisely by the oscillator assembly controlled highly precisely.
