Abstract:
Provided is a cyclic-carbonate-substituted propylcatechol having a structure represented by formula (1), wherein R1 and R2 are each independently a hydrogen atom or an organic group. R1 is preferably an organic group represented by formula (2), wherein n is an integer from 0 to 300. R2 is preferably an organic group represented by formula (3), wherein R3 is a divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group or a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group, and n is an integer from 0 to 300.
