Provided is a novel compound which has excellent Aβ aggregation inhibitory activity and is useful as a pharmaceutical product. A cyclic peptide comprising the amino acid sequence represented by formula (1), wherein an α-amino group at the amino terminal and a carboxyl group at the carboxyl terminal of the amino acid sequence are linked with each other by a peptide bond; or a salt of the cyclic peptide. X-Leu-Val-Y1-Y2 (1) (In formula (1), X represents Lys, Arg, His, Ala, Gly, Ser or Thr; and Y1 and Y2 may be the same or different and each represents a group represented by formula (2).) (In formula (2), Ar1 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic heterocyclic group; R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a haloalkyl group, an aromatic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic heterocyclic group; and n represents an integer of 0-2.)
