Abstract:
A cyclooctadiene derivative represented by general formula (I), and an agrohorticultural bactericide, antimold and antithrombocytic agent each containing the derivative (I) (i) or (ii), wherein A1 to A4 represent each COOR5 (R5 being H, alkyl, phenyl, aralkyl, etc.) or CONR6R7 (R6 and R7 being each H, alkyl, phenyl, etc.), or A1 and A2 and/or A3 and A4 may be combined together to represent group(s): (a), (b), (c) or (d), wherein X represents O or NR8 (R8 being H, alkyl, phenyl, etc.); R0 to R4 represent each H, halogen, hydroxy, alkyl, etc.; the symbol --- represents a single or double bond; and R1 and R3 may represent each oxygen when the symbol represents a double bond; provided the case where all of R0, R1, R2, R3 and R4 represent hydrogen atoms at the same time is excluded.
