Abstract:
A cylinder (1) is provided with an annular cushion ring (10) for preventing collision between a cylinder head (3) and a rod head (6) in a stroke end during a contracting action. The cushion ring (10) is configured in an annular shape by linking a plurality of divided rings (11) in a peripheral direction; each of the divided rings (11) has a main body part (12) and a linking part (13) for linking adjacent divided rings (11), the linking parts (13) being formed in both peripheral ends of the main body parts (12); and the linking parts (13) of adjacent divided rings (11) overlap each other in the axial direction of the cushion ring (10) and are restricted from moving relative to each other in the radial direction of the cushion ring (10).
