Abstract:
A cylinder device is configured so that the efficiency of the work of mounting a part to a piston rod is improved, the part constituting a stopper mechanism.
A stopper mechanism (11) has: a second cylinder (12) provided within an inner tube (5) at an end thereof; and a second piston (13) moving as a piston rod (7) moves and provided so as to be capable of being fitted into the second cylinder (12). The second piston (13) is configured to include: a stopper (14) joined to the piston rod (7); a cushion member (15) making contact with a rod guide (9) when the piston rod (7) is completely extended; and a piston ring (17) provided on the outer periphery of the stopper (14) and prevented by the stopper (14) and the cushion member (15) from moving axially. The cushion member (15) and the stopper (14) are joined by a catch (16) provided on the cushion member (15) and by a circumferential groove (14B) which is provided in the stopper (14) and with which the catch (16) engages.
