Abstract:
A bucket cylinder (21) is provided with: a cylindrical tube (22); a rod (24) having a cylindrical boss (25) mounted to the protruding end side of the rod (24); and a protective cover (34) having one end supported by a cover guide (28) provided to the tube (22), and having the other end mounted to the boss (25). The boss (25) is provided with a protective protrusion (39) protruding to the outside radially of the boss (25) and protecting the boss (25) and the protective cover (34). The protective cover (34) is formed in a plate-like shape from an elastic material, and comprises a plate section (35) which, between the cover guide (28) and the boss (25), protects the rod (24); and a winding section (37) formed so as to extend from the front end of the plate section (35) while winding on the outer periphery (25B) of the boss (25). The winding section (37) is provided with a protective protrusion engaging hole (38) which is located at a position corresponding to the protective protrusion (39) and with which the protective protrusion (39) engages.
