Abstract:
A cooling structure for a cylinder head 1 in which a plurality of cylinders 11A-11C are arranged in series in the lengthwise direction of an engine, exhaust ports 12A, 12B are arranged in the cylinders 11A-11C along the lengthwise direction of the engine, and head bolt boss parts 15 are provided on the exhaust side between the cylinders 11A-11C, said cooling structure being equipped with: cooling water introduction parts 25 that are provided under the exhaust ports 12A, 12B and introduce cooling water supplied from the cylinder block side into the interior of the cylinder head 1; first cooling water flow paths 26 branching from the cooling water introduction parts 25 and extending between the pairs of exhaust ports 12A, 12B; one or more second cooling water flow paths 27A, 27B branching from the cooling water introduction parts 25 and running in the vicinity of the head bolt boss parts 15; and protrusions 30A, 30B that are provided inside the cooling water introduction parts 25 so as to protrude by a prescribed amount, and that constrict the flow paths from the cooling water introduction parts 25 to the second cooling water flow paths 27A, 27B.
