Abstract:
A cylinder head gasket (1) allowing substrates and a stopper plate inserted between the cylinder block and the cylinder head of a multi-cylinder water-cooled engine to be connected to each other by simultaneous staking, allowing the simultaneous staking even in a restricted space, and preventing a laminated plate material from being extracted by the simultaneous staking, wherein an extension part (14) projected from the outer periphery of the stopper plate (4) is formed on the cylinder head gasket (1) at a position where a cooling water restricting hole (7) is avoided, a rectangular swelling part (5) is formed by pressing the gasket concurrently with all substrates (2, 3) laminated by specified forming molds at the positions across the tip of the extension part (14), both longer sides (5a, 5a) of the swelling part (5) with a cutting line (21) are punched out, and both shorter sides (5b, 5b) of the swelling part (5) without the cutting line are formed by bending, whereby each plate material is prevented from being extracted by a resistance force between the cutting lines of the plate materials at both longer sides (5a, 5a) of the swelling part (5).
