Abstract:
A cylinder injection type internal combustion engine, wherein a tumble air flow in a combustion chamber suitable for the transportation of fuel is produced by optimizing a recessed part shape formed in a piston so as to prevent fuel from adhering to the piston in order to reduce hazardous matter contained in emission gas and improve fuel efficiency by selecting an optimum injection timing according to the number of rotations of the engine.
