Abstract:
An inner cylinder (25) having a switch coupling shaft portion (25d) and a cam portion
(25b) integrally is inserted into a cylinder body (24) and supported such that
a specified amount of a push operation is required at the time of a rotary operation
from an off position to an operating force output position prior to that rotary
operation, a rotary member (64) constituting a part of an operating force output
mechanism (63) and provided with an abutting/latching portion is supported
rotatably by the inner cylinder (25) integrally provided with an engaging portion
(65) which can abut against and engage with the abutting/latching portion depending
on a specified amount of a push operation at an off position, and a rotation regulating
portion (78) for blocking rotation of the inner cylinder (25) to the operating
force output position side by abutting against the engaging portion (65) in the
case of push operation less than a specified amount at the off position is provided
in the cylinder body (24). Consequently, an on/off function of an ignition switch,
and an operating force output function to a steering lock mechanism and an external
mechanism can be obtained by a simple arrangement where the number of components
is decreased.
