Abstract:
The invention relates to a cylinder lock with a cylinder housing (1) and a cylinder core (2) which is rotatable therein, said cylinder core comprising a key channel (4) for a flat key (5) and scanning elements (25) for control surfaces of the key (4), in addition to locking elements (25) which block the cylinder core and prevent it from rotating or which release said cylinder core. According to the invention, a displaceable safety shackle (26) is arranged on a plane which is perpendicular to the median longitudinal plane (7) of the cylinder lock and overlaps with the key channel (4) on a narrow side by means of a locking limb (27). The locking limb can be moved between a locking position and a released position by means of control surfaces of the key (5) and by an elastic force (35). When the flange key is fully inserted, said locking limb is placed opposite to a release recess (29) of the key .When the key is not fully inserted, said locking limb is held n a locking position by a locking flank (30) of the key in a locking recess (28) of the cylinder housing.
