In order to enable the stroke position of a cylinder to be measured highly accurately even if oil in the cylinder has high pressure, an arithmetic processing unit (400) is configured so that the arithmetic processing unit (400) performs correction processing for resetting the position of the original point of a stroke position (Sd) at least using both a voltage value (V1), which is detected by a first magnetic force sensor (301), and the result of detection by a second magnetic force sensor (302), the detection by both the first magnetic force sensor (301) and the second magnetic force sensor (302) being activated by the movement of a piston, and the arithmetic processing unit (400) is also configured so that, when it is determined on the basis of the result of detection by a stroke end contact detection system (500) that the piston is in contact with the stroke end, the arithmetic processing unit (400) does not perform the correction processing immediately after the contact, the correction processing resetting the position of the original point of the stroke position (Sd) using the result of detection by both the first magnetic force sensor (301) and the second magnetic force sensor (302).
