Abstract:
This cylindrical body is formed by joining one end of a single metal plate to the other end thereof, wherein the ends are stably adhered to each other. A cylindrical body 1 is formed by joining one end 15a of a single metal plate 1a to the other end 11a thereof, the cylindrical body comprising: a recess 15b that is provided to the one end 15a and has an engagement part 15c on the inside thereof, and that is cut away in the planar direction of the metal plate 1a; and a protrusion 11b that protrudes in the planar direction and is provided to the other end 11a at a position corresponding to the recess 15b, and that is bent so as to engage by hooking onto the engagement part 15c. The length from the base end to the distal end of the protrusion 11b is no more than the depth of the recess 15b at a position corresponding to the protrusion 11b.
