Abstract:

A cylindrical roller bearing (10) wherein a column (17) in a holder (14) has roller holding sections (18, 18) that constrain a cylindrical roller (13) on the outer diameter- and inner diameter-sides thereof. The roller holding sections (18, 18) are formed such that the amount of movement of the holder (14) in the radial direction, relative to the cylindrical roller (13), has an outer diameter-side movement amount that is less than the inner diameter-side movement amount and such that outer diameter-side opening width W1 of the pocket section (15) is greater than the inner diameter-side opening width W2 of the pocket section (15), from a state in which the center of revolution (C1) of the cylindrical roller (13) and the axis (C2) of the holder (14) match. In addition, the column (17) has an inner diameter-side protrusion (30) that protrudes further toward the inner diameter-side than an inner circumferential surface of annular sections (16, 16) and constitutes the roller holding sections (18, 18).
