Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cylindrical secondary battery comprising: a cylindrical battery case for accommodating an electrode assembly and an electrolyte; a cap assembly positioned on an open upper end of the cylindrical battery case; and a jelly-roll type electrode assembly having a structure in which a positive electrode sheet and a negative electrode sheet are wound while a separator is interposed therebetween,wherein a protection layer made of a material having a high thermal conductivity is formed on at least a part, including a crimping part, of an inner surface of the cylindrical battery case.
