Abstract:
This cylindrical tank construction method involves a step for installing a rail (200) in an annular section, and a step for conveying an inner tank side plate (9) in the circumferential direction of the tank by means of a conveyance device (100) which travels along the rail (200), wherein the conveyance device (100) is provided with a roller device (101A) which travels on the rail (200), a support unit (110) which is supported by the roller device (101A) and which extends in the radial direction of the tank, and an overturn preventing member (120) which is detachably fixed to the inner tank side plate (9) and which vertically mounts the inner tank side plate (9) on the support unit (110), wherein the position where the support unit (110) and the overturn preventing member (120) are fixed changes in accordance with the curvature of the inner tank side plates (9).
