Abstract:
Provided is a cylindrical vibration control device having a novel structure, with which the amount of relative displacement between an inner shaft member and an outer cylinder member in the radial direction in which a boring hole is disposed can be restricted, and negative effects on the vibration control characteristics caused by sudden highly-dynamic spring motion can be prevented. A cylindrical vibration control device (14) in which an inner shaft member (18) and an outer cylinder member (20) are elastically coupled by a main body rubber elastic body (22) and a boring hole (24) is formed to penetrate through the main body rubber elastic body (22) in the axial direction, wherein: an insertion part (52) provided to a stopper rubber (34) which is separate from the main body rubber elastic body (22) is inserted into the boring hole (24); a gap (54) is provided to an axial direction intermediate portion of the insertion part (52); and the insertion part (52) has axially opposing surfaces (56), (56) that oppose each other in the axial direction with the gap (54) therebetween.
