Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a simpler and more efficient hydroxyhydrocarbon production technique using a cytochrome P450 monooxygenase decoy substrate, and provides: a cytochrome P450 monooxygenase decoy substrate which includes a compound represented by general formula (1) and can be used for the production of a hydroxyhydrocarbon in a cell; and a method for producing a hydroxyhydrocarbon in a cell using the cytochrome P450 monooxygenase decoy substrate.
