Abstract:
The purpose is to find a novel and useful component in a culture supernatant of a lactic acid bacterium and to provide an effective use of the ingredient. The component is used to provide a cytoprotective agent which comprises a low-molecular-weight fraction in a culture supernatant of a lactic acid bacterium belonging to the group of Streptococcus thermophilus bacteria as an active ingredient.
