Abstract:
A device-to-device (D2D) communication method and a terminal device, capable of achieving D2D communication in long term evolution (LTE) and new radio (NR) standards at the same time. The method comprises: the terminal device performs D2D communication in the LTE and NR standards by using the same packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity.
