Abstract:
The present invention provides a damper device in which it is possible to reduce the width of a rack body and make the device thinner. The damper device 100 has a case 130, a rack body 160, and a rotation damper 110. The rack body 160 has a substrate 161, a pair of first side walls 163, 163, a pair of guide rails 165, 165, and a rack gear 167. The rotation damper 110 has a pinion gear 120. The case 130 has a support wall 131, a pair of second side walls 133, 133, and a pair of retaining parts 135, 135. The minimum distance L between the pair of retaining parts 135, 135 is formed so as to be smaller than the maximum outer diameter R of the rotation damper 110. A part of the substrate 161 and/or the first side walls 163 is configured so as to enter between the pair of retaining parts 135, 135.
