Abstract:
The present invention applies an appropriate damping force which corresponds to a relative displacement amount. One member among a first member 10 and a second member 20 which are provided so as to be capable of relative movement is provided with a three-dimensional fabric 31, 32 in a manner such that the clearance C relative to the other member in a direction which is perpendicular to the movement direction of the members partially changes in said movement direction. As a result, the relative positions of the first member 10 and the second member 20 cause a change in the compression amount of the three-dimensional fabric 31, 32 which is caused by compression members 51, 52, causing a change in the sliding resistance acting therebetween. Consequently, it is possible to set various properties for the damping force, which is produced when the first member 10 and the second member 20 move relative to one another, by adjusting the clearance C between the three-dimensional fabric 31, 32 and a member among the first member 10 and the second member 20.
