Abstract:
A damper, mounted in a mounting hole, for dampening when in direct contact with a member to be dampened, wherein a case member (50) has a body (52), a flange formed at one end of the body (52), and a bottom (64) formed at the other end of the body (52). A pin member (20) has a head (22), that protrudes from an opening (56) of the flange and is capable of directly contacting the member to be dampened, and a shaft (24) that is connected to the head (22) and on which a stopper (28) is formed on the other end. The bottom (64) has a retaining hole, into which the tip of the shaft (24) is inserted, for stopping the stopper (28). The body (52) has locking claws (60) capable of deflecting radially inward, formed to project radially outward on the side face, for sandwiching the rim of the mounting hole against the flange (54).
