Abstract:
The present invention absorbs the axial run-out of a moving member that moves in a reciprocating manner along an axial center while using damping force that has hysteresis characteristics to damp the moving member. A damper (100) is provided with: a cylindrical case (10); a plurality of sliders (2) that are capable of movement in the radial direction of the case (10), that are radially arranged within the case (10), and that slidably support the tapered side surfaces (441) to (446) of a push rod (4); and an O ring (30) that is interposed between the inner wall surface (104) of the case (10) and the outer surfaces (26a) of each of the sliders (2) and that biases the plurality of sliders (2) toward the axial center (O) of the push rod (4). As a result, the shaft run-out of the push rod (4) that moves along the axial center (O) is absorbed while the push rod (4) is damped using damping force that has hysteresis characteristics.
