Abstract:
A damper according to the present invention comprises: a damper member that exhibits a cylindrical shape and comprises an inner ring and an outer ring which are concentrically arranged, a plurality of arcuate springs arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring and aligned in a circumferential direction, and a plurality of slits separating the inner ring and outer ring from the plurality of arcuate springs; seal members arranged at both sides in an axial direction of the damper member and having seal surfaces which face each other in the axial direction and which are spaced by gaps from opening edges of the plurality of slits; and a viscous fluid that is filled into the plurality of slits and the gaps. The plurality of arcuate springs include a first arcuate spring and a second arcuate spring aligned in the circumferential direction, and the slits include an inside slit section separating the first arcuate spring and the inner ring, an outside slit section separating the second arcuate spring and the outer ring, and a connecting section connecting the inside slit section and the outside slit section. A restricting part restricting movement of the viscous fluid between the inside slit section and the outside slit section is provided in the connecting section.
