Abstract:
Provided is a damping structure for rotating bodies with which adequate damping effects can be obtained while suppressing the generation of vibration and noise and being unaffected by temperature and frequency conditions. In the damping structure for a rotating body (1), a hollow part (5) is formed in the rotating body (1). The hollow part (5) is filled with multiple granules (6) and a viscoelastic body (7), and the granules (6) are essentially evenly dispersed in the viscoelastic body (7). The rotating body (1) is a shaft (2) of a rotor (10) that constitutes a motor, or is a gear (9).
