A dashboard display method and apparatus, a terminal device and a storage medium. The dashboard display method comprises: acquiring data to be displayed (S10); based on the data to be displayed, acquiring a corresponding upper data limit, a corresponding lower data limit and corresponding N thresholds, where N≥2 (S20); based on the N thresholds, acquiring a corresponding dashboard template, the dashboard template comprising N+1 display areas (S30); displaying the upper data limit, the lower data limit and the N thresholds on the dashboard template, so as to acquire a target dashboard (S40); and based on the data to be displayed, acquiring an indication position, in the target dashboard, of the data to be displayed, and controlling a pointer so same points to the indication position (S50). The dashboard display method is applied where two thresholds in a dashboard are very close, and a formed display area needs to be displayed in an enlarged manner, so that when data to be displayed is between the two close thresholds, a pointer can clearly and intuitively indicate, in the target instrument, the data to be displayed.
