Abstract:
[Problem] To update a cluster structure, via sequential clustering, to reflect an initial clustering condition value recalculated to accommodate a change in data distribution due to adding, updating, or deleting point data. [Solution] A data analysis device 100 comprises a calculation device 104 which: determines, using a predetermined algorithm, whether or not each piece of point data of a group of pieces of point data constituting an existing cluster is a cluster core, and calculates predetermined re-verification determination data; on the basis of the calculated re-verification determination data, recalculates an initial clustering condition value for a modified group of pieces of point data obtained by adding point data to the original group of pieces of point data; on the basis of the recalculated initial clustering condition value, identifies, from the modified group of pieces of point data, re-verification point data constituting point data which no longer serves as a core, or which newly serves as a core, as a result of said addition of point data; and performs a predetermined clustering process in accordance with the identified re-verification point data.
