Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a data backup method and apparatus. The data backup method in the present application comprises: acquiring first backup data volumes and first task completion time of a plurality of service objects, the first backup data volumes and the first task completion time corresponding to last backup tasks of the plurality of service objects; according to the first backup data volumes and the first task completion time, acquiring a scheduling sequence of next backup tasks of the plurality of service objects; and, according to the scheduling sequence of the next backup tasks of the plurality of service objects, sending to a client a scheduling indication, the scheduling indication comprising an identifier of a service object corresponding to a backup task to be scheduled. The present application can fully consider the matching precision of dynamic characteristics of a backup system and each backup task, and avoid human interventions in scheduling of multiple backup tasks, thus improving the compliance degree of SLA time windows of tasks.
