Abstract:
The present invention discloses a data backup method and a terminal, the data backup method comprising: detecting a data backup triggering event; in response to the data backup triggering event, sending configuration information for defining a connection mode between a data source device and a data receiving device to the data receiving device; attempting the connection between the data source device and the data receiving device according to the connection mode; and after the connection is successful, receiving the data to be backed up sent by the data source device. In this way, the present invention provides a data backup method, in which after the corresponding triggering event is detected, a connection acknowledgment with a data receiver is automatically completed, thereby achieving emergency transmission and backup of the data. In particular, in the preferred embodiments, the present invention is able to automatically achieve emergency transmission and backup of data in situations where a user is unable to input a backup instruction through a normal user interface.
